Free Parents Talk ｜Building a Dream School for Adolescents (registration required)

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a nurturing learning environment in which adolescents can have their needs met and at the same time go through the process of individuation as positively as possible?

Wouldn't it be nice if our adolescents could pursue their passion without the pressure of grades, make mistakes in a safe environment and learn from them, and explore their identity without being judged?

Wouldn't it be nice if our teenagers could build their own community, explore their identity, and find their agency, independence, and belonging in a home away from home?

Wouldn't it be nice if we could make this dream come true for the betterment of the world and future generations?

Currently, a team of passionate individuals at Y2 Foundation is invested in making this dream school for adolescents a reality. Leading the team is Jan Gaffney, the director of Y2 Montessori Adolescent Community, who has relocated to Taiwan to facilitate the development of Montessori adolescent education. She hails from New Zealand and has over 30 years of experience in Montessori, having performed teaching, training, and leadership roles in New Zealand and Indonesia.
