ABOUT Y2
Y2 Foundation for Future Education was founded in 2017 as the successor to Chen Chien-Chih Social Welfare Foundation, which was established in 2006. In the first ten years, our focus was on the welfare of underprivileged children and the elderly; in the next ten, we aspire to create a better future for Taiwan through education.
OUR PLAN
By promoting Montessori as an option in the public school system, we hope to make Montessori education accessible to more children and families. In working toward this goal, the Foundation launched the Montessori for Global Impact (MGI) Project in 2017, which centers on three pillars: research & development, training & orientation, and an education platform.
We seek to incorporate the essence of the century-old Montessori philosophy into the Taiwanese education system in a way that suits local culture and social context. The goal of this effort is not only to offer quality education alternatives for all but to return, to the children, their innate ability for self-directed learning and the power to impact the future.
